Parenting and Bible Promisess for Children

Parenting and Bible promises for children

Jesus loves children Matthew 19:14 He said “ Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”
Parents should bring the word of God to their children’s attention; make them aware that the bible and Gods love and Jesus Saves is not for adults only but for children too. Proverbs 22: 6 “ Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it”.
Isaiah 54: 13 “ All your children shall be taught by the Lord, And great shall be the peace of your children”
Two promises in Isa 54:13
1. All your children shall be taught by the Lord
This is a great promise that I claimed when my children were born, just the fact that the Most High God will teach my children! What I did was I prayed all these promises over my children when they were newborn infants right through their school going years up to today and I can say with joy in my heart that never has this promise failed my children. God has though my children and gave them favour in ways that humanly they would not have been able to make it.
2. Great shall be the peace of your children
Knowing that when your children leave the house that Gods peace is with them is a wonderful feeling of contentment.
Let your children know this! Let them grow up knowing that Gods peace is upon them day and night wherever they go.
It’s not about us as parents; it’s about a God who cares about us as a complete family.
Too many parents worry about their children’s safety and health and this that and the other. Well, now you know! Don’t worry any longer God cares about your children and He will keep them in perfect peace in fact the verse sais great peace cross Reference Psalm 119: 165 Great peace have those who love Your (God) law, And nothing causes them to stumble.
Psalm 127:3 Behold children are a heritage from the Lord, The fruit of the womb is His reward
Promise:
1. Gods own possession He has given children to us as a heritage. Children belong to God not to us; this implies love and personal care.
Your children are loved by God in a way you never will be able to love them, so Gods love is sure it does not change like our love, Gods love forgives and nurture with tender care.
2. Reward- a gift entrusted to our care. We need to take parenting very seriously and do all we can to let our children know God at an early age.
Children are moulded by what we do, they watch what we do they store it to memory and when they are able to they imitate what they saw us do.
Be careful; do not lead your children away from what God has in store for them! Introduce children to the lord at a young age God will bless you for doing that.
